Mrs. Laura Thompson, our dear friend of over 40 years, died last night.

This is my STORYTELLERS UNPLUGGED column for August 8, 2009.

Sometimes the show does not have to go on.

    I’m sorry to hear of your loss. A friend of that duration is a key part of anyone’s life, and needs to be appreciated both while they’re with us and especially when they’re gone.
