. . . is published in 32 countries on every continent around the globe. He has been many things, fought many wars – personal, public, for God and Country, and for sanity’s sake. Some have been acknowledged; others covert, hidden . . . denied.
He has been a counter-terrorist for a private corporation . . . with the United States government as its only client.
He has been a high priced bodyguard in the land of swimming pools and palm trees . . . where threats sometimes come clothed in $5,000 suits or the finest diamonds.
He has dug ditches, sold women’s shoes, managed Rock bands, worked as a small business consultant, and casino parking lot attendant. . . been a hero and a victim.
But he has never stopped believing in the dream . . . of an America as honorable, as caring, as committed to liberty and democracy and true soul greatness as its people.
“My novels are in no way political tracts or dialectics on great moral questions. Rather, they are a call for a return to the ideals of the true American Warrior – as defined by Benjamin Franklin, John Dickinson, Edward Rutledge, and John Adams in that penultimate summer of 1776.
“The American Warrior who says what he means, and does what he says.
“The American Warrior who takes personal responsibility for his actions and their consequences.
“The American Warrior who welcomes open all sided discussion, knowing that the principles that make up the foundation of America can survive any scrutiny or contrasting viewpoint.
“The American Warrior who fears neither conflict nor contest. Always secure in the certain knowledge that principles of freedom, justice, and liberty WILL win out.
“And whether I mount that cry through espionage thrillers, allegorical horror, biting fantasy, or a combination of them all in one, it remains the thing I am most dedicated to.”
A resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, Richard Steinberg has appeared on over 1,600 radio stations in the past six years in support of his novels and his works. Frequently asked back – to discuss his novels, breaking news, or current events and social issues – he is an articulate, compelling speaker speaks on a broad range of topics: from National Security issues to the dangers facing American businesses and citizens abroad; from the healing power of horror to the role of the writer in modern society; government immorality to concepts of honor and personal responsibility.
Years and years ago, on holiday in Italy, somewhere in the back of a tiny book store I found The Gemini Man. I absolutely loved it and have re-read it dozens of times since then. I also got Richard’s other novels The Four Phase Man and Nobody’s Safe. But after those, I couldn’t find anything anymore about Richard or his books. Every year or so, I do an internet search, but this is the first year I’ve found some recent info (through storytellersunplugged2.blogspot.com).
Are there any other Steinberg novels published? Where can I get them?
Thanks!
